Role Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Assistant Manager - Projects to join our Fashion Division and drive strategic initiatives across our integrated business ecosystem. The successful candidate will orchestrate complex projects requiring seamless coordination between manufacturing facilities, production departments, logistics networks, distribution centers, and technology infrastructure to ensure operational excellence throughout the division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans that align with divisional objectives and business strategy
- Establish effective communication channels between factory operations, production teams, logistics partners, and distribution networks
- Coordinate with technology teams to implement systems that optimize manufacturing workflows and supply chain efficiency
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between design, sourcing, production, quality control, and retail operations
- Monitor production timelines, manufacturing capacity, and logistical constraints to ensure on-time delivery
- Conduct regular performance analysis of production facilities and distribution channels to identify improvement opportunities
- Manage critical project dependencies between manufacturing outputs, warehouse operations, and retail fulfillment
- Implement standardized processes for production planning, inventory management, and distribution protocols
- Liaise with international logistics partners to ensure efficient movement of goods across borders
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and production delays
- Analyze production metrics, logistics KPIs, and supply chain performance data to drive strategic decisions
- Coordinate technology integrations between factory management systems, logistics platforms, and distribution software
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management on project status, manufacturing performance, and distribution efficiency
- Facilitate training initiatives for production teams and logistics personnel on new processes and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in project management within fashion manufacturing or retail environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of production processes, logistics operations, and supply chain management
- Experience with ERP systems, production planning software, and logistics management platforms
- Strong understanding of international distribution networks and cross-border logistics
- Excellent analytical capabilities with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries
- Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies and associated tools
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with competing priorities
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
